Homeless Outreach

We visit the homeless one or two times per year, usually in the fall and sometimes in the spring. We go to the Atlanta Mission’s Homeless Shelter for Women and Children, the street homeless near the Atlanta Greyhound bus station and The Gateway Homeless Shelter in Downtown Atlanta, passing out clothing, shoes and necessary toiletries. The ladies in the church collect the items one or two months ahead and a volunteer group participates in the mission outing usually on a Sunday afternoon.
